Letter from the Editor

The strength to do what is right, the strength to speak the truth. Bravery to maintain the truth despite the numbers of those who wish to supress it. Moral goodness, to do what is right, to give our opinions on what the truth in our nation and in other nations is from a moral and good standpoint. Excellence, we strive for it in all our writings and everything we do in publishing this news-zine.

But how is it accomplished, you might ask? Why are we even doing it in the first place, and who are we? We are a group of students, studying Constitutional Law together. It was in one of our discussions, that this idea was born. Why are we doing it? Because it is merely one more step in the direction of making a difference in our nation. We have the ability to make a difference, now is the time to make use of it. We want to bring the truth in news to our readers, striving for excellence, moral goodness, bravery, and strength to do what is right. We have the freedom of speech and the freedom of press in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. This is one way to make use of that freedom, and make a difference. And for how it is accomplished, we set our deadline, do our research, write, and edit, and publish. Simple steps, yet not so simple to actually do.

This is what we intend to do with Virtue, and it is what we will do. We are small, and we may not seem to make that much of a difference at the start. But in order to do big things, we must start small. One does not just fly to the top of the ladder. Instead, you start at the bottom rung and slowly, but surely, climb up to the top. And if many small things occur, if many small seeds are planted, they can spread into more small seeds, making more of a difference than one big seed. For if there are many seeds, than many more can be sown, but with one, few can be sown. Let us then, with these goals in mind, begin our first issue of Virtue. May God Bless us, our President, our country, and all of her citizens.

    Miss Kroger,

This is an excellent piece. It is high time we speak out against the tendency for Christians to “go with the flow”. Thank you for your bold stand!

Nice speech: short, to the point, very truthful and correct. God Bless you, Editor

Of course you wern’t gonna see the Iliad, this is modern day HOLLYWOOD home of Michel Moore.

I agree with you Allesandra and I think it was a great article…it seemed a little rushed. (Not really it is an inside joke)
