Freedom of the Press and the Responsible Journalist

In today’s society, “freedom of the press” seems to be a mute clause in our constitution. True, our tightly controlled mass media promotes this freedom, but their interpretation includes the right to slander, libel, slant, and fictionalize any subject in order to present a view that fits their agenda.
